Just logged into my gmail account and saw that they are now offering IP (internet protocol) to POTS (plain old telephone service). Look out Skype there’s a new player in town, and they have deep pockets.
Last night CBC aired a pretty cool documentary on Google. Even if you are not techie it is a very interesting watch.
I logged into my Gmail account today and found it had a new feature called buzz. The idea seem good it just looks like another mash of social networks (Twitter and Facebook mainly). I think they are a little late in the market on this one. Both Facebook and Twitter are well established and can be interconnect with each other (plus many more networks). I feel that Google is just rehashing what is already there. But with that said it is Google and I will probable start using it at some point, but for now I want to avoid adding another social network if I can.
